Issue #1

Hey all (mostly Patricia/the odd tutor I guess),

These are the possibly somewhat sparse fruits of my first couple of weeks or so of labour at the college, as well as assorted inspirations and sources;

Firstly, upon getting the brief itself, I went on a wander around Limerick with my camera and took various photos of places and things I found interesting or fitting when it came to my Sense of Space; these are a couple of 'em;

                                                                       
                                                                           

                       

After this I began doing a few sketches, mainly from the photos with some altered parts, experimenting with one of my main ideas; the effect on our sense of a physical space of factors such as objects in the environment and stuff covering our vision;



I then began to fork out with my ideas, branching into the senses; particularly sight and touch, glancing into matters such as reflections, looking at the world around you via the medium of reflection; feeling the world around you through both sight and touch, such as how you might see an object or surface and wonder or imagine how it might feel;
